University of Oregon, scholarship awards for international students

Scholarship - is an essential opportunity for any student to either get or further their Higher Degree. The University of Oregon is drived by the vision that education must be accessible. University of Oregon provides a range of scholarship for extraordinary students possessing astonishing academic results along with extracurricular activities revealing their leadership abilities and cognitive skills.

•International Cultural Service Program (ICSP)

The scholarship awards tuition waiver ranging from $7.500 – $30.000 and imply intensive participation in cross-cultural activities. The international student must demonstrate a financial need and an eminent academic achievement (minimum 3.0 GPA) along with excellent communication and presentation skills. The ICSP program requires it’s students to devote 80 hours per year for cultural services, which include participation in international cultural events, public speaking and presentations about the heritage, customs and culture of the student’s country of origin.

•International Dean’s Excellence Award (IDEA) for New International Students

 A merit-based scholarship awarded to incoming international students, which provides partial-tuition waiver valuing from $6.000 – $8.000. The award is renewable for the next 3 years based on sufficient academic performance. The candidate must have strong academic record of at least 3.0 GPA.

•Summit and Apex Scholarships

The both scholarships are merit, granting $4.000-$9.000 per year based on GPA and SAT/ACT score. Scholarships are renewable up to four years if student is able to maintain sufficient academic performance.


The deadline for all scholarship applications is 15th of January 2018.
